You should know you dont need high revs in an LCR, 30-40mph in 4th gear is just when the turbos spinning up and without the need for a gear change 100 will come quickly.
Someone has actually tested 4th gear 50-100 and it was quicker than using the tail end of 2nd, 3rd and then changing to 4th. It was quicker by about 0.8secs IIRC
