This pioneer headunit

has anybody got experience of this headunit? always fancied one of these, but are they too big for a small car? whats the picture quality like? basically, can anyone advise me on this?

i really like them! doesnt have to be a pioneer though, kenwood or alpine would do fine as well. BUT i wasnt sure what the quality was like. better be good for the price.....!

ive got the avic x1r, its awsome! top quality, only thing i dont like about it is the fact it doesnt work too well with the ipod interface.. though that one you are lookingat will i would have thought

its a far better unit than the jvc unit you asked opinions on

but its still not exactly a great unit

do these ones require a brain unit as well?



what WOULD you recommend then bryan? im not so bothered about sound, just got some 6x9s in the back, and thats all there will be. want something quite fancy thatll play dvds and cds that costs round about or under 500. thats why i was looking at the jvc and this pioneer.

i wont recommend any unit that doesnt give superior SQ, and lets me honest, you dont care about that, all you want is flash, so i wont advise

yep thats right, as long as its better than the standard hu in terms of sound, then im perfectly happy with that.
