Thoughts/Opinions

As above boys and girls, looking to upgrade the suspension and was wondering peoples opinions on these two options. Cars not going to be tracked, as lets face it, it's only a 1.6!

Option 1, a budget set of coilovers, such as Rokkor, which for the money don't seem too bad.

or

Option 2, the tried and tested method of Eibach Sportlines.

Input appreciated.

Cheers for the input guys, any reasons for your choices?
Yep, I've had both, and Sportlines make hardly any difference. Everyone says it but you will want to go lower if you just get springs. Coilovers will handle loads better as well as looking better, and won't put more strain on your dampers (they go anyway) as you'll be using the coilover ones, so can return to standard when you sell.

Ah now thats an interesting point, anyway to tell how long the standard shocks will last? Or is it best just to go straight onto the dedicated coilover kit.

  Whichever has fuel
If its not going to be tracked and your doing it purely for looks, go for cheap coilovers.

Cheap coilovers.

Doesnt ruin your standard shocks for when you want to sell, you can choose your ride height, and IME, the ride is better in general.
