Throttle bodies

How much work and cost would throttle bodies include? Advantages and disadvantages about them? Just need a bit of advice thanks

Cost wise you need to budget for around 3.5k to get them supplied, fitted and mapped if you were to opt for the ktec itb package for instance. Work wise it depends on how good you are on the spanners yourself. They aren't anything difficult to fit though.
Advantages are more power and you get that itb bark.
Disadvantages are your investing more money into a car that potentially is worth less than the cash you've just spent!

Before you spend any money, get your engine health checked is something I'd advise you do. Then, sit down and think long and hard about is it worth the outlay.

Watch for second hand ones, they can be had much cheaper than new

Ahhh thanks ads that will help me with the decision, How much do second hand one fetch? Brand new the package is roughly £1500?

With an ECU, they can fetch about £1800 or less. The ECU will be mapped for a Clio and just need altering to suit your car

You can get throttle bodies for around £700 for a good condition used set and then EFI Parts in Runcorn fit and map an Adaptronic ECU for £1100
