Throttle bodying a valver...

the setup on the white hybrid cost well over £3.5k although i think that may have included cams + head work, not sure...
i reckon you could do it for 2.5-3k.

about 165-170 on the 1.8 and 190 on the 2ltr.

Ben's figures will be more accurate than mine and the others as his done throttle bodeis before.

a better investment would be buying a 2.0 then, seeing as you can see 180bhp out of the 2.0 for less than 1k and get the 2.0 supplied and fitted for less than 2k.

30BHP increase for less than 1k? How?! I want it! :D

mmmm, going on what ive bought for my car -
piper 270 cams with veniers + complete head £210
supersprint manofold - £180
headwork - £400
de cat - £30

having the car mapped will send it just over £1k

Ah right..
I was going on what it would cost to take your car to somewhere like HP and get it done..

Now you got me thinking.. ;) I'd be too tempted to get new cams etc.. tho, heheh. Mainly because, you don't see them come up very often for sale!

i got lucky with the cams and manifold, i have everything for the car now just waiting on the completion of the head work then fitting.
