Throttle delay?



  Nothing at the mo :(
Hey dunno if this is normal or not

When say when i pull away and i apply the throttle it takes roughly 1 sec to respond :S is this nromal?

Mine does this too. If you tap the throttle, you can get your foot off the pedal before it does anything :s

Believe it's because it's electronic (but it's normal)...

When in neutral or clutch in? There is a slight delay.

Remap get's rid of it . Also gets rid of the jerky cold start too.

RS Clio's have always been praised for the throttle response and adjustabilty with the throttle but the DBW system is seen to be the spawn of the devil by most on here.

as said if it has always done it, then its the nature of the electronic throttle. cable ones aren't as bad. You shouldn't get any delay while driving through the gears though really.

I just noticed it yesteday when i was getting the revs right to pull away on a hill. at was fine when i was moving just when i was stationary :) but it seems its nromal :p
