Throttle issues

  Clio dynamique sx
Hi everyone,

About 6 months ago I got myself a 1.2 clio dynamique sx tce. After a week or so, i noticed that when I gave it a bit of throttle the revs would dip and the car would sound as though it were about to stall, then it would pick up and the revs would increase. This often caused the car to kangaroo along the road when trying to pull away (Originally i had put this down to it being different to my previous car and just me getting used to it). Anyway, I checked it into the renault dealers I bought it from and they looked it over. after a few hours they got back to me and said they couldn't find any faults and neither could their computer. I drove the car home and still noticed the problem so I got my dad to drive it. He also agreed with me that something wasn't right. I checked it in again and once again renault couldn't find any faults.

I've read about others who have had similar problems, but nobody seemed to know why. Hopefully you guys can shed some light.

Cheers, Greg.

yeah, basically all the time. I'm quite often driving between southend and cambridge and it will still be doing it after the hour and a half trip.

I know our tCe is annoying at cold, especially at initial throttle application as the revs seem to dip momentarily and then you're off... It only does it once and when cold though.

I'm guessing it's map/tb related as I've never really looked in to it.
