Throttle pedal??

I got a new throttle pedal for my 172 cup yesterday but when i got home it had a plastic pedal on not the metal one and theres noway of changing the metal one onto it so what am i to do?

drill plastic part and screw pedal on, there riveted on standard iirc

So renault dont supply a pedal witht he metal bit already on so you can rivet the pedal to?
