Timing 197 cams in a 172 - what tool?

Does anyone have picture or details of the tool I need to make to time up 197 cams in a 172 please?

Thanks Mark, I have seen 8 degrees but not sure how to actually set it. Is there a tool I can get made/buy?

A last question please. In fact i'm not sure that my car has the 197 cams. When i bought it, it was running really well with 186hp on the dyno, the map was stock and the idle was just a little rough but nothing compared to the Group N timing i've just tried with my actual cams. Then i wonder, if my cams are stock, how will it work with the 8 degrees timing ?

Well that sounds more like you’ve got the standard cams mate. You’d be better off going full Grp n timing as you’ll get better midrange and a little top end.

Yes mate it's what i also suspect but how to be sure ? Now my cams are timed with the Full Group N tool. My map is stock. The engine is running fine with the air leak on the throttle body. Do you think it would not be the case if i had 197 cams mate ?

Well you definitely need to map it on those settings as they run very lean.
If you time 197 cams to Grp n you will lose hp.
