Timing belt change on 2016 1.2 clio

Hi there,

What is the recommended time for changing the timing belt on a 2016 1.2 petrol clio? I can't see anything about it in the user manual. Thanks

4-5 years or 72k which ever comes first.

It it had a timing "chain", does this change anything?

Is there an easy well to tell?

D4F is a belt driven engine, but if they ticked the belt/chain section in the service book then check for any receipts or ring the garage that did it and ask them if they have any customer info regarding the belt being done

More than likely, just ask for any service info they have. They won't disclose customer info but should be able to provide any work they've done iirc
