Timing belt/water pump question.

  Renault clio
Hi everyone, i was just wondering when you should change the timing belt on a standard renault clio authentique. Its a 53 reg and has done 82,000 miles, just had its mot and passed, no probs at all. I just recently purchased it as a method of transport to and from work but have been getting more and more into it everyday. i have never had a clio before but im already thinking about getting a 182. But first i would like to know about the normal clio 1.2.

Should i change the water pump too as well as the timing? Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks.

IMO I would yeh. At that miles and it being a 53 why not?

If you've bought it too keep get them done.

Use a genuine water pump though not an £11 white box cheap thing
