Timing belt

Just been going through the service history on my car and found the belt was done by Evans Halshaw on 15/12/10 and had 63k on it, here is what it got done

OPERATION 1 SUBTOTAL 169.30

Says nowt about the aux belt.

The reason im asking is that im thinking of getting cam's and a couple of traders are doing deals with a cambelt change. Its got 80k on now.

Im asking will it be worth doing the belts if im getting the cam's done........................

Definately.

If not for the oeace of mind, but just to make sure its all timed up properly.

The belts got to come off to get the cams out anyway so it all makes sense imo.

Seen as the belts will have to come off to do the cams, you may as well.

Doesn't look like the aux has been done with the cambelt. Was it done at the 36k interval at all?

I doubt anywhere reputable would reuse your belt when fitting cams!

Go to TDF, matt will sort you out, have the lot done for piece of mind! Then drive it like you stole it!....

Premier Inn at St Neots isn't too bad mate I stayed there a few months ago when I visited Matt's and I think it cost about £35
