to mod or not to mod?

  1.2 clio II exp
I got my first car a 2004 plate 1.2 clio expression and i was just wandering do you guys think its worth it to mod car or save up and get a 182rs?

  53 Clio's & counting
Doing small mods (ie reversible stuff) like wheels etc is fine mate, nothing wrong with a few choice mods, but never do anything you can't take off - example being if you fitted a set of 15 inch alloys with decent tyres, then fitted a set of quality lowering springs, this would cost you around £500 and make a nice difference to the car - then when you have saved up enough, swap back to the original springs and wheels, sell the aftermarket ones and sell the car as standard.

If we are taking a short amount of time then save and buy a renaultsport

as above, make sure its quality, and above all re-sellable, parts and your going to be onto a winner. use them while you have the lower spec car then when the RS bug hits you can easily recoup some cash from the old car/mods
