Whats the difference between the tomtom one and 300?

Doesnt seem to be that much in them to me.

The TTOne can lock onto more satellites than the 300.

It also features a new chipset - which gets a better signal.

It's more compact.

It replaces the 300, and is the first of a new range of TomToms featuring the new slim design.

tomtom 300 comes with free speed cameras (one time download) and the One has bluetooth to download traffic and to give it an internet connection but doesnt do handsfree unlike the 500 and 700!
id go for the one as its more up to date and is generally smaller ALOT better in my opinion!sell around 8 ones a day easy!rather than 300's maybe 2-3!

The Go 300 is supposed to be better than the One tho generally.
Hence the price difference etc..

Nope, it's RRPis higher because it was launched ages ago.

The new one has a lower RRP to start-off with, because it's only just been launched (these things are getting cheaper over time).

PC world (online) are doing them for £259 including a case... you can do a collect-in-store.
