tomtom go! installing new maps

ive got the westen maps of europe and tryed to add 1 to a new memory card but when i turn the tomtom on it just tells me to eject the card as if it cannot read the card or it is empty.

anyone done this or know how to ? its doing my headin!

You need to copy the system files as well as the maps.

I made a copy of the complete existing 128mb card to my pc desktop.

Inserted the new card into the TTG.

Drag the 128mb copy file to the TTG.

Then add the new maps.

Something like that anyway!

what size card do u have ?

If you had all the maps available you would need a 2gb card.
