tomtom or road angel?

  BMW 125i
just wondering which you would recommend my dad wants sat nav but also speed camera detection too was thinking of getting it for him for xmas but not sure which one to go with i was thinking more of the tomtom then get the update for cameras??
HELP im running out of time lol

  Inferno 182
I`d go with TOM TOM.

I bought a PDA and a bluetooth GPS and got the software and speed cameras free. Its by far the best Sat nav out there.

  RS Clio 200
er, tom tom for gps navigation.
but neither for speed cameras.

if you really must have a 2 in one unit then get the road angel one. SPeed cameras on the tom tom are rubbish, and never up to date.

ideally you want a tom tom for navigation, and the Origin B2 for speed cameras

  Citroen DS3 DSport
Buy a TomTom for sat nav and a Talex Lite for speed cams. The Talex database is every bit as good and uptodate as the Origin but the unit will cost you alot less.

  Skoda Fabia vRS
the Road Angel sat nav is rubbish to put it simply, i work in a shop that sells them and i wouldnt buy one

the new Garmins have speed cameras on, id get one of those to be honest, the battery lasts longer than a Tom Tom and they dont suffer from the freezing problems they have, plus they are really fast and a doddle to use
