I've had a 4 for years, and an expired 6

Supposed to be doing number 1 at some point soon

I'd like to get 10, just so that I could put PiMP at the end of my name on business cards

Top one probably. MCSE as well I'd imagine are the ones most likely over a wide range of employers will get noticed for IT Technician. You have loads of different job titles though like security, networking, firewalls etc but they're more specialised.

Thanks, I'm Doing networks and security at uni - Not that it has a lot of content applicable to either networks or security.

Not top 10, but VCP is there.

I have MCSA/MCSE, MCTS/MCP, A+. Looking to get my VCP and CCNA done by this time next year. Still not completely sure which market I'd like to consult in, need to get my game plan together.

Oh and Magic, my thread earlier in the year... you were wrong (and so was I), IT Contracting FTFW ;)

I want to be a Red Hot Chili Pepper!!

I have an MCP and it will become part of my MCSE once I do all the rest of it... just booked next 3 courses woo

LOL! That's uni for you.

I did find it strange that there's no virtualisation certs on that list.

Or anything above whatever the phone monkeys get.

No CCSP, no real CCSA (Sonicwall?? lol get to f**k), no JNCIA. I.e. anything that would actually be any use in a proper enterprise enviroment.

Should be more like "10 not worth the paper they're written on qualifications to get you a bottom of the rung 1st line phone monkey position" or maybe "10 qualifactions that every Tom, Dick and Harry have that they think'll pull them in 50k a year"

I have a CCNA and recently took my CCNP:BSCI and also dong my CCDA.

Surprised CCSA ranks above CCNA in that list.

Load of b****cks, vcp is definitely in top 5, everybody needs virtualisation skills going forward and vmware is where it's at (the other 1/100 are hyperv....)

VCP isn't on there because too many people can't pass the exams :p

dk - Can I punch you in the face for using 'going forward' in a sentence? My boss uses that constantly, f***s me right off
