Top mount issue

I had the front shockers off today to replace springs and found that the hole in the shell looks like its wearing into an oval shape! My top mounts are nakered do I know this won't be helping, just wondered if anyone else has had anything like this?

Probably done by Renault. Making the hole oval shaped was one of their ways of stopping the dreaded top mount knock that some people get.
