You're not the first to have this, If I recall some recent renault parts changes have resulted in the incorrect fitment in some cases. What part numbers did you buy and what came with it?

I remember this pic. did you fit the new spacer? dunno what the big silver cup thing is for, mine didnt have that (unless its a new style of suspension 'top hat' that sits above the coilspring?)

you are running normal shocks aren't you and not coilies?

That big silver thing is spring cup. For top of spring
then bearing
then rubber
then big spacer nut.
Fit to car. Top under bonnet cup and nut. Done?

yeah that sounds right to me. Maybe the coilovers aren't suited to normal engine mounts then? Sorry, that's all I can think of.
Bearing is right way up? Flat side makes contact with silver spring cup?

In picture- that needs to be turned over and fitted like that. Is how I fitted
ill fit my standard ones back tomorrow. Eg use old insert n nut
