Torque settings for spacers

Got myself some spacers but was wandering what you should torque them to.

Think the FK's I got were 70nm, I lock tighted them also.

That seems quite a low torque setting, i would of thought more around the 110nm mark?

Well that's what the FK instructions said, I had them on for over a year and when they came off they were still tight.

Oh, was that alloy or steel spacers and does it say to use lock tight as well? (I'm just curious :b )

Alloy ones, they didn't say to use locktight but did anyways. Better to be safe than sorry.

Yeah very true never hurt to use a bit especially when your tightening them that loose :rasp:

Just do them up tight, with some threadlock. None of this poncing about with torque figures.

Lol crack on with the way Gaz says if you ponce around in your car, however the fact the I drive mine I'd rather do it way specified on the instructions. Rather not have them fail because I 'think' I know better than what the given instructions say.
