utorrent is not working very well for me these days, tried every cure!

Whats the best of the rest?

I use flashget as my downloads manager for everything. Really good as I use the shedule function for my unlimited download time from midnight to 8am

utorrent is the best mate, what problems you having? oh and fyi you can do scheduling on that too.

The little green tick at the bottom that indicates everything is ok is not coming up! Says I do not have a connection. Its still downloading but at around 7mb rather than 200+ I have been getting!

I did a test on the ports and it comes up saying bot active, so I followed the port forwarding instructions and still no joy!

Has been working fine!

Tried a number of torrents inc ones I have already downloaded and still no joy!

Will uninstall and install again to see what happens.

Downloaded bittorrent... is utorrent a blatant copy or the other way round?! Menu's and everything are all the same!

Anyway, managed to get the port forwarding to work last night and was successful!

sure it is just that ther is no one, seeding, thats major problem recently loads of leechers but hardly any one seeding. probs because the use arent really online when we are, to if you schedule the downloads for over night they usually fly, once america comes online so to speak, but it is really disheartening when your only downloading at 20kbs but uploading at 80.....

true latest limewire handles torrents. Although azureus takes the lead and opens up torrents before limewire on my laptop

I always check for an open port with the utorrent online tool after ive forwarded it through my router, very handy to get max speeds
