Torsion Bar

Quick question: Can a torsion bar be set exactly to match the front?

If it can then im now looking for a place who can set it to match the front.

Ive had mine lowered a click (spline) and my 17s but they were rubbing so i got it put back up again, looked sweet when it was lowered just wasnt practical, and now it just looks sh*t with it back up again.

Anybody know a place in Scotland i can get this done?

I phoned eccose but they said they wont touch renaults!!!

Demon Tweeks set mine exactly to match the front.

After a week or so the springs settled so it was a few mm lower at the front but thats how I like it!

anybody who can do torsion bars can set it the same as the front. you just meassure the front underbody height and adjust the rear torsion bar to compensate. unsure about who could do it near you though as im not local to you.

im sure there is a cliosporter in scotland with the knowledge to help.

the more people that learn how to lower torsion bars the less people who have to pay £100 each time they want it done. cant believe they charge that much for such a relatively simple task
