Toshiba External hard drives any good?

Been looking at this to back up my whole system and to keep the junk off my c drive. Are Toshibas reliable? I hear they're good for laptop drives but not sure about their external ones.

maplin have got some good ones. just found out i can get the 320GB one for an extra £20!

Was it out of stock online or in-store?

I could do with the 300gb at least as me and my dad will be partitioning it and having half each on the network. Got a lot of camcorder videos to back up and the files are pretty big!

maplin one looks like it has a auto backup function which would be handy for me as thats what i need it for.

Will need to download a shitload of stuff to fill the 260GB left over!
