the arse who bought it was a dealer and put it up for sale again + £2k
http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/311570.htm

the guy who bought it is definitely a dealer and mysteriously in same location as where the car is now for sale.

how dare he try and make a profit :nono:

they will make out that its been prepared for sale etc etc when they have done sod all.

It was a pretty tight auction so people were interested in obviously buying whereas this arse was always just taking it with a view to selling it on for a profit to some silly gimp who thinks there getting a good service from a dealer who will inspect it and change anything etc, which CLEARLY isnt the case seen as the car isnt even in yorkshire yet. Thats the bit that pisses me off.

tadgery of the highest order.

LOL @ R20 CWH if you can't beat them join them, if I see a bargain car for sale I buy it and sell it on for a profit, easy money if you know how.

I advertised and sold my dads company car before the lease had actually finished, so there was no risk at all as I had the money from the new owner before I had to buy it off the company, agreed a later delivery date no problems at all. Lease company even sent a new tax disc through for it dozy b******s. They underpriced it in the first place and I spent a day detailing it, I wasn't greedy the buyer got a good price everyones happy. I made £2k on it.

yeh of course money is there to be made, im not that daft to think that people will sell stuff for no profit its the fact that whoever buys that is basically getting ripped off as they will NOTHING to the car prior to its sale or going on forecourt, so defeats the purpose of buying from a dealer imo.

plus alex, your not a dealer!!

Its always good to be enterprising and make cash, but being a rip off c**t about it? hugely laughable

Welcome to the world of second hand car dealing, any dealer will look to make a minimum of 1500 quid profit on any used car and if they get away with not doing anything they will.

Theres nothing unusual about what they did, its what they all do, only difference is that the car came from Ebay and not some BMA auction or similar.

have you ever been to a car auction where dealers get their car from? It was listed on e-bay for a quick sale and thus a lower price is usually achieved. I don't see the Problem... he isn't ripping anyone off he is buying at a slight risk to sell on at a profit.

Isnt this good business?

Ive just bought a 98S plate Mondeo GLX for £40, yes £40! It wanted a set of keys, which was no problem for me as i work for Ford, got them sorted and its on ebay now, hoping for £500 at least!

Wheres the problem? Now the car is coming from a dealer so if anything goes wrong the buyer has some sort of comeback plus if its gong on a forecourt it will have a good detail and if the buyer has any sense will get a service, tax and MOT out of them.

Money makes the world go round, if you saw how much tyres cost direct from manufacturer or even from the foreign market you would cry. lol
