So delivered to my door for £250 is good then
Fitting & balancing costs me a beer
How much better are theses than the toyo's? What is their durability like?
For 888's?! Thats cheap! Where's that from Jon?
Group buy on another forum has 4 tyres delivered for £235 which I thought was great value.
Edit - everybody knows the 888's are track tyres right, not T1-R's or whatever they are. £29 each? I'd be gobsmacked.
someone i know was running these on his vx220 on the road and tells me they are fantastic in the dry but scary in the wet, is this true??
i also hear that using these tyres on a dry track can knock seconds off ur lap times!! am thinkin using a dedicated track wheel and R888's for next year!!!
I've noticed most people run these on 15's in 195/50/15.
Is there any problem in running 205/50/15?
Parada's are equally as good grip wise on the road and last a lot longer than 888's plus are cheaper.
From a road use point of view the only advantage a 888 has over a Parada is the stiffer sidewall. I found the levels of grip to be the same if not better with the Parada's
Are these road legal?
/edit. yes they are.
however how will they be during the winter months on the road?
17" are they?

Dangerous.

Not on mine.
I have two sets of 205/50/15 that I interchange with no problems.
Apparently they grip better in the wet than road tyres once fully warmed up, which can be hard to do on the road.....dont' forget they are cut slicks, not full slicks

So is it ok to put 205 tyres onto 15x7j wheel?

They didn't fill me with too much confidence thats for sure. As soon as you get standing water i'd rather be walking.
