Track/fast road front pads?

  RS6+ & 40d MSport X5
Currently running DS2500's but they're at the end of their life.

What would you track boys recommend? Best VFM?

I'm wanting to try something different from the DS2500's.

Fred's doing Pagid Blues. I had DS2500s on before and liked them, these are even better. A bit more expensive but I think they're worth it. Still fine for road use and excellent on track. They also feel similar pedalwise but the Blues are just a bit firmer.

Pagid blue were the best all around pads Ive used (still nice on the road, last quite a while, very good on track, not noisey) but not cheap.

DS2500 I find a great all rounder too with no real downsides but you already know about those by the sounds of it.

Mintex1155 work well but IME are a bit noisey.

Mintex1144 are great on the road but just cant hack track use

I've just bought some yellow stuff pads. I am looking forward to seeing what they are like.

You will hate then I would think.

When I used mine hard they just overheated and faded like hell, nowhere near as good as DS2500 I found (thats with both pads in 6 pot tarox calipers as Ive not used them on standard calipers)

They're much cheaper than ds2500's though... and they are also going on the beemer.

Maybe they will allow me to learn how to brake properly...

for road use they are ok. You'll find horror stories online but that's from before the compound changed.
they are cheap which is why I had some when I was building a brake conversion to keep ininitial cost down but mine ended up burnt with bubbling paint. Lol.
And I am nowhere near as hard on the brakes as you.
