Track / road car

  182 FF & 306 Rallye
Why? I've been told by several people not to use a cage'd car on the road, normally the hard points in a car are covered (to lessen impact if your head smacks them in a crash).

I was really talking about track, shouldn't need a cage on the road. But if the roof gets squashed and you're held in by buckets and harnesses your head/neck has nowhere to go. Also worth covering the cage with rollcage padding near your head and legs.

If your seat is low enough like mine, theres no chance your head will hit the cage, if the harnesses are tight, But ye3s he's right, any cage and no helmet aint advised on the road, and for the track helmets are a must, I saw a mates lid the other week, after his helmet hit the cage, when he was passenger in a car that had an off.

As for harnesses and seats and no cage, well, take your normal seat belt you can bend forward while its on, then look at your harnesses, can you bend? If you roll and the roof comes down, where do you go??????
