track rod ends easy to replace?

As above really and best place to get them from? Work in the trade so I can get good discount at Eurocarparts etc.

CES sells them cheap to trade. I think I paid £6 or so a side for mine.

Eurocar parts isn't cheap for them they want something like £25/30 a side.

Easy enough to replace just need to do the tracking after.

easy to replace count the turns of and wind on the new one the same amount give you the best chance of keeping the tracking straight then get the tracking done.

Where do I start

Wheel wobble
Light front end, especially passanger side
Let go of the wheel and it pulled to the left
Tracking problem, I'm guessing they were linked
Tramlined, even more than it should with how I've got the coilovers setup

Think that covers it. I saw the old one and there was plenty of movement.

Don't buy cheap balljoints or your'll be changing them again next year. Get OE spec ones, like Lemforder.

EDIT: Once fitted get tracked straight away.

Tracking seems okay tbh, but will get it checked. Track rods were qh ones from the local factors so they will be fine.

Makes a big difference doesn't it as I've got no idea when they were last done, and for twenty quid fitted it was a bargain lol

See when accelerating hard I've noticed my car wanders and tramlines. Worse in the damp but still similar in the dry.
There is a wobble when going over 40.

Had your wheels balanced? I'm sure you know all about torque steer so i won't even mention that. Have you had the track rods checked for play

Not yet, thats on my to do list, as well as getting the wheels 'fine balanced'
Definately don't think it's torque steer, as it's a different feeling.

jack the car up at the front, see if the wheel wobbles when you shake it

Get someone to check everything mate. Good chance they may need changing. And this ^^^^

Mine wobbled like mad! And it used to wander across the road. Felt alot better afterwards though.
