Track tyre size

I know that the preferred size of tyre on a 15" wheel is 195/50, but I've come across some track rubber for free but they're 195/55. Just wondering if that's ok? I assume the 5mm shouldn't cause any issues but just checking?

Cheers

Not sure of the tyre name but they're Dunlops, used in the Mini Championship

Ah didn't know that, didn't even think about size just assumed mm ha. Thanks for that, that's a big amount of money saved for my 1st track day then!

Just looked up how to figure out the height using the aspect ratio, if I've got it right my tyres are about 9.75mm taller than a 195/50 tyre. I'm guessing that'll be fine, if I was a serious racer it would probably go against handling but for a track day should be cool
