trackday springs?

  182 cup
Im doing a trackday at onnington end of July and was thinking of fitting Eibach Sportlines. would this be benneficial or am i best to leave it alone?

Obviously I would want to fit them eventually but its just a case or wether or not to do it before I track it.

Opinions wanted!!!

Prolines for Go

Sportlines for show.

Prolines are the better out the 2 for track.

indeed but the sportlines are still far better than the standard springs, better turn in and less body roll

will even the sportlines help me on the track?

not really mate. sportlines are cosmetic really. Pro's are much stiffer and provide better handling. 10mm drop maybe. But better of the two. You could always try apex springs. Much stiffer and lower. Coil overs are obviously better if you're looking at the best of both worlds, but very pricey.

Yeah coilovers would be the crem de la crem but as you say they would break the bank!

Yhe Pro's wouldnt give much of a visible difference so thats why im tending to sway towards SL's

Secretly hire a instructor then.

Sportlines v standard will give very little in lap time.

I imagine sportlines will help providing they are progressive like the pros, however being lower you will be more vulnerable to under and oversteer on standard tyres. With that in mind I would think prolines are the best compromise. Id like to point out im not speaking from experience though. Ive used my standard cup on track and the standard suspension is brilliant.
