hi ive just put a deposit on a clio 172 03 reg and it has a tracker fitted but the fella said its not active does any body know how much it is to do so?:S

Get the paperwork for it, asuming it's an rac trackstar one (most of them are these days) give them a call, it's £120.00 per year & I think something like £300.00 for lifetime.
The lifetime bit it a bit of a joke, as it only applies while you own the car (it's not transferable)

You will save the grand sum of .... nothing !
Most insurance companies don't reduce the premium at all, mine didn't.

Yup most don't reduce the premium, but for some cars some insurers won't cover you uinless you have one, madness.

i have picked the car up today well yesterday now coz its gone midnight the make of the tracker is TRACKER the renewal is £99 pound also in the paper work it gives a list of companys that give discount but they only give 5-10% so not worth doin plus like people have sed on other posts wouldn't want it back after some tw*ts hammered it every where
