Tracking

My clio is a 54 plate 182 with cup packs. If I take my car into someone like kwik fit to get the tracking/wheel alignment checked do they have to know its not a standard 182. Does the upgraded suspension make a difference to the tracking/wheel alignment?

  Ford Fiesta

there is a change in camber settings I believe.

Do you think it needs adjusting??

Yea, but renault want me to book it and in and leave it with them. Rather peeved off because i can get it done in the town in 15 mins, whereas i need to drive 20 miles to get to my local dealer, spend all day hanging around then drive 20 miles home :(

Yeah, but Id hope the renault monkeys are slightly more capable than the kwik-fit-up monkeys! lol

Where abouts are you in the country fella?

I wouldnt trust Renault to be any better than Quick fiit, if anything Quick fit will probably be better that Renault.

Try any local garage they can usually do a check for you for £20~35 and much better than Quick fit or Renault.

GOt the tracking fixed today by Renault. Took the almost 2 hours

When I put the car in the average mpg was 34.6, when i got it back it was 32.7. WHoever took it out must have hammered it. Was slightly peeved, but didnt bother becuase it was fixed, and is now first class, the way it should have been when it left the dealers brand new!

White16valver, im from Greenock in Scotland. Loads of people alway ask me due to my name. Very Oor Wullie I spell it :)
