The cost involved for a mobile credit card machine would be immense and I reckon that they would have to put prices up by 20 or 30% over normal just to cover their costs on that. As most wireless devices use wifi, so would either need to set up and connect at Duxford (which would be pain as they would need to reconfigure once back at their home location and using C&P over open wifi would be stupid and totally unsafe). Just take cash out on the phone way in case there is something you might want (or see if there are any free atms around there you can use in 'emergency').

I have noticed a new device that paypal have brought out though, which connects to a smartphone. That looks pretty cool tbh.

Theres a card reader that connects b to iphones and androids. Think the provider charges flat 2.5% no fees.

Remapping with no rollers and nowhere to drive the car hard, so basically just flashing off the shelf chips as no chance to actually develop any sort of map?

Sounds very boring to me TBH unless you really like watching a windows progress bar chug along and then see no difference afterwards until out of the event and down the road, and you can do that anyway with an RS tuner yourself?

Think they coupd charge more than that. I know Mick and Mike (Diamond Motors and Rentech) have them...I remember Mick bringing his device down to FCS last year.
