Tree Sap

Hi,

Sadly at work I have to park my car in the worst car park ever and it gets covered in all sorts of rubbish - including Tree Sap!
How can I remove this? There is some on my roof and my front and rear windscreens. I have tried the Autoglym Tar Remover and also tried to polish it out afterwards (on the paintwork) but it doesn't work.
Can anyone recommend anything?
Thanks

I'd try clay, although one thing I have found that is really good for removing tree sap is a high pressure washer with the temperature set around 50 - 60 degrees. Only problem doing this is it will may also remove any wax you have on your car - but clay would do that anyway.

You could try the above in conjunction with the AG tar remover, spray some on, leave for a few minutes then spray off.

It depends though, as some trees have worse sap than others. Oak sap is a biatch I find, but I try and park as far away from trees as possible for this reason.
