trip meter not working??

hi ive recenty got a 52 plate 172 and the trip meter or the button for it dosent work anybody know why this might be? Cheers

not sure which fuse it would be so checked em all and all seem fine anymore ideas? If i dont sort it it will anoy the life outta me should there be a fuse at the bottom right where the steering wheel symbol is because mein looks like a dummy socket?
