Near Doncaster now, but used to be East G too.
I lived over the other side of the iron bridge in Ludlow Avenue. The wife is from Gtown as well, closer to you - Thames drive, which is a couple of streets away.

Matty Thomson was in my class all through primary and in the same year as me when at the comp, I know of Danny Leach (works at the wheel refurb place, drives a black puma) but I don't know Paul Manning! Small world eh! Yeah I live on Firtree Avenue, first of the 5 streets that go up beside the railway line, lived there since I was born. Ha Podger, don't see that pub much nowadays, but always a good place to go, usually out on Fridays but hit Gasgoine and then Miners a bit later.

Matty is the only person I know that age - and I don't even know him that well to be honest. His brother is my best mate, though. Dan Leach is also my mates brother, he does drive a puma and refurbs wheels bless his cotton socks.

The podger was the wifes regular haunt, but she has since retired. I used to work in the Gascoigne many years ago, however - suprised its still there.

Yeh well I don't know him personally anymore but see him blasting around gtown every so often in a Rover with a phat exhaust! Well the podg was refurbed a couple years back so its much nicer, done away with the daft amount of pool tables though, got 3d tv's in too 
, Gascoigne is a carvery now, rather than a drug fueled chav house that used to be.
