Its the same with the FRS turbo..There arnt any and the tooling is in a warehouse locked up.

But there are 3 in my office....! MMmm e-bay..

You have a very, very long wait. lol Renault don't even have pricing on the system for them, but they do have a part code.

I doubted it would, the money I had put by looks to be going on a new daily drive now anyway. It is worrying if you do have a trophy and need a replacement part.

true. especially when so many of them go on trackdays and are likely to be driven hard.

There must be a coilover kit out there that's better or the same. Plus it won't put the car up in th clouds.

There are better, but the sachs kit was more of a new era for damping control on a low cost mass produced hot hatch, rather than the be all and end all.

What about when they start to come onto the used car market - what will they be worth if you can't get spares? ??

Leaky shock = write off as it can not be put back on the road....

I think you guys are going a little far here. Initially getting them was a problem. Renault UK just weren't geared up for these odd parts not from within the Renault Parts Ditribution Network.

Leaky shock is a 182 complaint. lol My rears were dead in 12 months and 18.5k.

Remember bouncing around in the back on the way to Oulton Park just before I chopped it in? You could hear them bang when I hit a large bump lol

Im just waiting for the FRS turbos to blow then cash in as i know for a fact they there are no housings for them been made since...

Then post a little thread on the forum....
