trying to track a previous owner of X661 ERR? Yorks/Lincolnshire?

Hi

I'd like to find the previous owner of X661 ERR, a Clio 172 ph1. the car has a cliosport.net sticker on the back so hopefully, he/she frequents the forums.

The owner possibly lives up in the South Yorkshire, Lincolnshire area.

does it not show the "last" owner...

if he got it from a dealer, it would have the dealers details...he mite want the previous..

Wouldn't normally have the dealers details on the V5.

Dealers dont count as "owners"

Dealers will put the V5 into 'Trade' using the yellow bit of the V5 so they don't show as a owner.

Sorry I wasn't clearer. I haven't bought the car yet, so can't get hold of the V5. I was trying to trace the owner to find out what work had been done on it before they traded it in.

If its with a dealer, ask to see the V5. Make discreat note of the last owners name and address.. and then use directory enquiries. Done it before myself, called the last owner, and saved myself a shed load of trouble from buying a car that had been SERIOUSLY clocked..!

Can you do a search on the reg on here? That would be useful. How do I do that please?

I can't view the V5 till next week so was trying to get some info beforehand so that I'm armed.

Click on search at the top, type the reg in then press search. It will bring up ever thread with the letters err in it though.
To narrow it down you'd want to click on advanced search then spotted (if it has a cs sticker it may have been spotted)
