Turinie (sp) question

Hi guys

The cars going to the garage tomorrow for an alloy refurb. Now there's lots of surface corrosion which is common on the turinies. My question is, is it normally just on the face of the alloy or does it petrude to the back side of the alloy?

Anyone who's refurbed a set?

Tends to work its way round the back of the spokes and center hub imo, depends how bad the corrosion is really!
