Yeah you want a pretty high f/Stop else the whole shot wont be in focus.
Only problem with that is you might start needing a tripod as a high stop means lower shutter speed. So it's a matter of setting up a 'pod or upping the ISO if you want to keep hand held. Depends how good you camera is at handling noise at the end of the day.
