quick question.


do you have to remove the whole top of the dash off to get at the tweeters or can u just pop off the grills? like i think u can with the door grills...

wanting to replace the front speakers with some jl items but not really confident removing the top of the dash...

You can pull off the covers, but then the tweeter is still held in place anyway and you couldnt be able to get to the wiring.

Take the dash top off, use the guide in the guides section its very simple. Then when thats off you just lift the tweeters away and unplug them

Nope, not in the PH1 anyway, not sure about the PH2.

nah its a dash of job i tried with it on and took the p*ss so just took it of

You can get them out with the dash still on, but you won't be able to fit new tweeters under the original grilles without removing the dash.

This would be possible if Renault put the tweeters under the speaker covers instead of being offset. Didn't take that long to take the dash off (with the help of someone on here)

i think i just about managed to fit mine without taking the dash off but they were deep tweets and sat proud ofthe hole and looked crap... Ended up scapping them and buying some focal polyglass components with the tweets built into the mids.
