This is why it's not worth buying from camskill most of the time, most places won't fit tyres that you've bought yourself and the ones that do want £10 - £20 each to fit the tyres. So it cancels out any savings you think you've made buying them yourself
It's ok if you know someone who can fit cheap or for free
Me and mate went halfers, only £150 each, save that this year on tyre changes!
Makes sense then if you change over a lot of tyres , which sounds like you do.
Just been quoted £12 each corner. He seemed abit iffy when i said they are 195 45. Said ooh last time i did a low profile my machine slipped. Are the wheels on your car new? FLOL. Aint going there in a hurry.

£10 a wheel our way! That's why I bought my own
Few questions Fraser
Was that £300 new or you find it cheap, also is it 240v 3pin house socket. Did it come scratch protectors for gripping the wheel as they are typically quite rough on wheels.
It's used mate, local garage were upgrading and I knew somebody that knew somebody! It is a 240v normal plug. It doesn't have any protectors, were still learning to be nice and gentle with it to avoid damage!
Sorry for all the Q's, im going to look into getting one at my lock up. Is it fully electric or you have a compressor too? You take them to garage to balance aye?
