Tyre pressures

  172 money pit
Sorry for the random thread revival...

I was looking through my manual at the weekend for the tyre pressures on my ph2 172. It seemed to have all the pressures for 1.2's and 1.4's etc, but nothing for the 172. I'm sure I've seen it before because this isn't the first time I've checked the pressures, but could I find it?

Any ideas where in the manual I should be looking? Was the data for the 172 in a supplement to the boggo owners hand book?

Why don't they put it on a sticker in the door or the fuel flap like everyone else?

Thanks

Chris

I think you get an added booklet just about RS Clio's with the details in.

funny this thread should pop up, i've just been looking at renaults technical notes for the cup and it says, with tyres cold, on a motorway, full load, they should be 40psi on the front! that's high, even for full load on a motorway. and 32 on the rear which is more like it. go with what fred says. personally i run mine 34 on front, and a couple of psi less on the rear. always have done on my cars, a slightly higher psi on the front lends itself to easier steering, but obviously because there's slightly less tyre in contact with the road. start with 33 and 31, then change it if you don't like
