tyre size help

just bought anthra 182 alloys the other day and the wheels i have on the car the now are the 16inch 5 spoke 172 alloys,which take 195/45/16...am i right in sayin the tyres will be the right size or will i be better to get 205/45/16...

Both are fine, but 205s are what came on 182 wheels as standard.

what tyres are they? they will be fine though yes.

i been running 205's for the last yr, and switched over to 195's yesterday and the difference was definatley noticeable. car and steering felt dead with the 205's on. this was on turini's. just my observation and will probably go against others opinions.

you probably get a bit less tyre noise too. Not as much grip though in theory and less rim protection
