Tyre Sizes??

Ok, so I have found some alloys I like.

They are 16x8 wide..
Tyre size that comes with them is 195/45/16.

What does that mean? and what will they look like?
Stupid question yea, but I really dont understand lol

8" wide will rub like buggery on a clio, be very wide. Is this for euro look or something? As 195/45's will be stretched a lot to get on 8" rims.

Whats the offset?

Yup, tyres size width and profile are all fine for a clio but the width is too much and the offset is too far out from the body. The RS clio's that run a 205mm wide tyre only run a 7" wide wheel!

i looked at 8 inch wheels. i had a few speclist companies trying to help. 195/45/16 tyres will look like this

You will need 10mm spacers and you will not be able to lower the car.
