tyre wear - how long

just up to 7000 on a set on conti sports with no noticable wear at all, any one hazard a guess how long they might last, i do a lot of motorway miles,

Totally depends how you drive.

You can make then last anywhere from 1000 miles to 30,000 miles.

I do a fair lot of motorway and town driving and done 12k in 7 months. The service said there was 3mm on the front. I generally drive sensibly with the odd bit of fun - they did me ok!

I needed new fronts after 6,000 but I do tend to drive it like I stole it as long as I havnt got the missus in the car.

I got about 9,000 out of a set of Nankangs on the front, that was with tracking out and them pumped up to 50psi for about 6 months *lol* (the garage did it and I never thought to check!)

38000 ( yes 38000 ) miles on the same rear pair with 7mm of tread left!!!!!!! And yes its not the V6

I got 12k out of my last set of fronts so you dont need big power to go though tires quick.
