toyos are good, but f1s are excellent, and for only £2 more a tyre, go for the f1s!

Had F1s on my Williams, A539s on my Saxo and have Toyo T1-S on the coupe currently. I definately preferred the F1s.

Soon as the tread has gone on the coupe ill be replacing them with F1s

F1s definitely!

Running Toyo T1s at the moment and though theyre alright in the dry, the wet weather performance is, errrm, a bit slidey... lol

I have just fitted 4 Bridgestone Potanzas to my 106 GTi, and they are bloody brilliant tyres. Excellent in the dry and wet!

£188 is a very good price for 4 tyres and fitting.

Eagle F1s are great. Loads of grip and great in the wet.

what about toyo proxies T1-R?

Thats the ons Ive got.
They arnt very good in the wet or dry for grip. I had F1s on the front and toyos on the back on the track an the car likes swopping ends, on Continentals all round its sticks fine.
The grip on them is less plus the break away isnt very enjoyable.
Ive ended up sticking my T1Rs on my day to day car and even on that you can tell the stearing is less confident and the cars more walloye.

ive just got T1-Rs (think these are the newer ones to the T1-Ss)... not had chance to find out what theyre like yet.. will let you know! they are cheap, £37 a tyres in 195/45/16s
