tyres/mileage

  a burnt one
Just wondering what kind of mileage everyone gets out of their tyres and what kind they are?

ive got Yokohama tyres which i put on when i bought the car last year (20k miles ago) and still have between 0.5- 1mm tread left, thought this was quite good

so, what you got on and what you getting?..........

under normal driving conditions i might add, those who use the same ones for track days obviously get a lot less

  Clio 182
we did this about a week or so ago?!

23k out of mine but desperately need changing! (including a few track days)

  Meg on pistonheads £6995
0.5mm - 1mm tread - change 'em bloody quick!

£1000 fine per wheel if caught under 1.6mm :-O

me - 20K from Toyo Proxes - changed to Yokos

P.S: cheaper to buy new set of wheels and sell old ones with part worn tyres

new tyres were £400, so sold old wheels & tyres for £299 on E-bay, new set for £600

£99.00 saved and NEW shiny rims!

Continential premium contact (ie stock spec) (ps the premium contact 2 are different i don't like them as much)

There the stock spec but in 195/50/15 as there cheaper.

They last about 10k with no track days.

damn, youre mum must be wheelspinning at every junction!:D

dont think i'll opt for the continentals either, id expect more than 10k from any tyre, they must be really soft, im looking for a happy medium, seems what i have just now are almost that.

When i bought my 172 , the contis on the front lasted 7.5k . On my 182 i'm on 4.5k on the michelins so time will tell , still plenty left at the moment , but i do get hardly any wheel spin on the 182 so that helps enormously .
