What would people recommend as tyres for my soon to be fitted 17" Team Dynamic Phantoms.

Medium price range I guess, What tyres would be the best bet and how much should I expect to pay.

been suggested a set of Falken tyres 205/40/17 for £265 fitted

is this good?

Toyo Proxes TS-1? Heard theyre quite good in the wet and the dry but quite soft.

Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD-2 or GSD-3 are, IMHO, probably the best you can get, though youre looking at £400 for a set.

Try http://www.mytyres.netwww.mytyres.net - you can search by tyre size and specification, plus they have some reviews.

Whatever you do, dont buy Yokohama - great in the dry, sh!te in the wet!

Iv had 205/40/17 falkens on mine since last weekend, much better than the eagle F1s had on before! I got them v cheap @ £160 though!

I have had Falkens, Toyo-Proxies and Goodyear F1s

Out of all of them Goodyear are the besy by far. Just my opionion anyway!!

id recommend Uniroyal Rainsports myself, very cheap and very good grip, both wet and dry !
