can anyone recommend a good place to buy a set of Ceat Spider 165/65/13R tyres for my Mk1 RT?

Do they *have* to be Ceat? Not sure Ive even heard of them before...?

I think these ceat tyres are made by pirelli arent they (thats what i got told) but they dont actually say pirelli on them.

are ceat spiders the standard ones renault fit when the car is new? however as my car is 10 years old i would hope that these tyres have been changed a few times in the past! in that case maybe theyre not standard?

ceat is a budget brand specifically designed for sale through Kwik Fit

I normally use mytyres.net but there have been a few moans and groans lately, ive just ordered a set and delivery seems to be taking longer than i would of hoped.

Maybe theyre too busy taking sh!tty calls and emails on the recent Toyo f*ck up?! I did a nice long email with lots of long words and the reply I got said that they will honour the original price and give me my 17s for £170. Hooray! Now just have to see how long they take to come and whether they go back on their word...

no i dont buy tyres which have a cool tread pattern. as i said earlier, i was only interested to know how much a pair would cost. i can see how much they cost about a year ago from this kwikfit receipt but i wanted to know if they were any cheaper these days
